Description

  • This Sankey type diagram is a flow diagram in which the width of the arrows is proportional to the flow represented.

Parameters

  • Dimension 1 : Dimension for the first node level of the chart
  • Dimension 2 : Dimension for the second node level of the chart
  • Dimension N : Dimension for the Nth node level of the chart
  • Measure 1 : Measure for the width of the link

Animations

  • Display the tooltip when you move the mouse over the links.
  • Click on a node to highlight the previous and next links & nodes in relation with it. Click again on the node to disable the highlight.

The Webi native element link function is only available on the nodes of this component (not on the branches).

For the Simple Sankey, the available parameters are:

Global

  • Palette and Style
    • General : You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.

Extended parameters

  • Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here
  • Menu → See the user guide for the “Menu” section here
  • Nodes
    • Layout : This setting allows you to define the width and padding of the nodes
    • Color : You can choose here to set monocolor for nodes
    • Labels : This setting allows you to set the label options (Font, Padding, Outline). You can also add the aggregated measure (value and/or percentage) on each node.
  • Links
    • Color : You can choose here to set bicolor (color from source to target), monochrome, source color or target color for the links. For monochrome color you can et a gradient effect.
    • Borders : This setting allows you to set borders (thickness and color) on links

  • Measure
    • General display : This setting allows you to specify the name of the measure in the labels (replaces the Webi object name), the unit to add as a measurement prefix or suffix as well as the measure and percentage precision. The measurement display format (standard - e.g.: 2,345.67, compact - e.g.: 2.3K or compact long - e.g.: 2.3 thousand) can also be defined.
