Common Settings for "Selection" section in Extended Parameters

This is the details of the “Selection” settings you can find in the Extended Parameters section of the N4V elements that are selectable and/or drillable. Depending on components, some options may not be available.

• Selection

• Drilldown button : This setting allows you to choose the design, position and label for the back button

• Effects : You can set here to update or not the title of the chart with the drill level value

• Selection : You can choose here to not highlight the selected item (slice/marker/line…). If highlighted, you can set the color of the selection. You can also choose to add a button in the N4V menu to reset the selection : the action on the button will go back to the top level of the chart (if the component is drillable) and deselect all previous selection.

• Saved Drilldown : Choose here to save or not the last drilldown position (if yes, the chart will automatically drilldown to the last selected value when the report is refreshed).

• Webi Element Link : When a native Web Intelligence linking element is set on the chart, you can define here to activate the filter action to all the drill levels (or only on the last level). You can also add a button (in the N4V menu) to let the user enable/disable the filtering during the drill.
