Description

  • Drillable diagram based on a hierarchy of up to 5 levels of dimensions.
  • You can either choose to represent a drillable Pyramid or a drillable Funnel.
  • 1 measure defines the height representing the dimension at the level of hierarchy displayed.

Parameters

  • Dimension 1 : Dimension for the first level of the chart
  • Dimension 2 to 5 : [Optional] Dimension for the second to fifth level of the chart
  • Measure 1 : Measure for the height of slice

Animations

  • Display the tooltip when you move the mouse over the slices.
  • Drilldown in the sub-level when you click on a slice. To go back to the previous level, click on the button upper top of the chart.

Use the Webi native element link function to make this graph interact with other elements of the same report (native Webi tables / graphs and / or Need4Viz graphs). Element binding can be defined on all objects or individually on one of the dimensions of the graph. By default,the link is active only on the last level of drill, change the option in the extended parameter (selection) to activate the link on each level.

For the Treemap for hierarchy, the available parameters are:

Global

  • Palette and Style
    • General : You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.

Extended parameters

  • Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here
  • Menu → See the user guide for the “Menu” section here
  • Options
    • Chart : Define here the kind of chart (pyramid or funnel), the orientation (reversed or not) and the position of the chart in the frame (to get a better render of the label on the side).
    • Chart colors : This setting allows you to apply a gradient or a monochrome color.
    • Borders : Set here the borders (width, corner radius, color…)
    • Null values : Choose here to display or hide the 0 values labels
    • Sorting : You can change the sorting of the slices here (sort by asc/desc measure or dimensions)
    • Funnel : If the chart is a funnel, set here the neck (width and height)

  • Labels
    • Display : Set here the display of labels and there positions/alignment.
    • Style : Change here the style (font, outline, hyperlinks) of the labels

  • Measure
    • General display : This setting allows you to specify the name of the measure in the labels (replaces the Webi object name), the unit to add as a measurement prefix or suffix as well as the measurement accuracy. The measurement display format (standard - e.g.: 2,345.67, compact - e.g.: 2.3K or compact long - e.g.: 2.3 thousand) can also be defined.
    • Aggregation : You can change here the aggregation function used for the drill
    • Label : You can display/hide here the value & the percentage of the measure in the labels
    • Legend : You can display/hide here the variable percentage of the measure in the legend
