Common Settings for "Legend" section in Extended Parameters

This is the details of the “Legend” settings you can find in the Extended Parameters section of the N4V elements.
Depending on charts, some options may not be available on “Legend” settings.

• Legend

• Display : This setting allows you to display or not the legend of the graph. You can also allow the legend to be hidden (this action adds a button in the bottom left corner to dynamically hide/show the legend). You can also enable the legend display only on the first level (for some drillable charts).

• Sort : Choose the sorting for the legend items (default is the ordering of dimensions sent by Web Intelligence)

• Frame and color : This setting allows you to frame the legend and, only for framed legend, set a background color.

• Title : This setting allows you to define a title for the legend (as for Chart title, %SECTION% variable can be used in the title).

• Items : This setting allows you to define the style of the items of the legend and the shape of the marker (bullet or square).

• Global position : This setting allows you to choose the place of the legend around the chart.

• Floating position : This setting allows you to place the legend over the chart. You first need to define the “Global position”, then you can refine the position by setting a vertical and/or horizontal moving of few pixels.
