Liquid Gauge

This is the N4V FOR WEBI Wiki page for the Liquid Gauge widget.

Since Need4Viz 2025.2.10

• Progress gauge allowing to display 2, 4 or 6 values on 2 levels of thickness.
• An overall objective marker may also be indicate.
• Possibility to use the functionality of linked elements on this graph.

• Dimension : Dimension to possibly ventilate the gauges

• Value : Measure to display in the gauge

• [Min,]Max : [Optional] Measure to set the minimum filling, Measure to set the maximum filling

• The gauge gradually rises when the graph is opened.
• Tooltip appears when you move the mouse over the gauge.

Use the Webi native element link function to make this graph interact with other elements of the same report (native Webi tables / graphs and / or Need4Viz graphs). Element binding can be defined on all objects or individually on one of the dimensions of the graph.

For the Liquid gauge, the available parameters are:

Extended parameters

• Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here

• Options
  • Global : Set here the number of gauges that has to be placed on a line. Enter 0 to set all gauges on the same line, 1 for a vertical distribution (1 gauge on each line).
  • Circle : This setting allows you to customize the circle (thickness, space between circle and wave and the circle color).
  • Wave : This setting allows you to customize the wave (height, number, disabled wave animation, color, gradient…).
  • Label : This setting allows you to customize the label options (font, position, color). You can also change the height allowed for the individual gauge's title, by default, it is set to 25. You can adjust it if some titles are shown on more than 1 line (for instance, set it to 50 for titles on 2 lines…).

• Measure
  • Measure of the gauge : This setting allows you to specify the unit to add as a measurement prefix or suffix as well as the measurement accuracy. The measurement display format (standard - e.g.: 2,345.67, compact - e.g.: 2.3K or compact long - e.g.: 2.3 thousand) can also be defined.
