Input Text Zone Description

Render

Description

  • Display an input text zone to be able to dynamically filter elements of the report.

Parameters

  • Dimension 1 : Webi report variable that will be directly affected by the input text.

Using

  • Create a Webi variable to assign the input text zone
  • Build Input Text Zone the navigation component
  • Do not use the Webi linking element to link this element with another element. Use only the Input Control settings to set the interaction.
  • When the text is input and the “ok” button is validated, the webi variable will be updated with the value entered.

For the simple value list, the available parameters are as follows:

Extended parameters

  • Global
    • Title of the chart : this common parameter is described here → Chart title
    • Background color : This setting allows you to choose the type of colorization for the background of the graph. Several styles and colors are available.
  • Options
    • Text input options : These settings allow you to set the font, color and placeholder of the input text zone.
    • Button options : You can set here the validation button (color, label, font).
  • Controls
    • Input Controls reset option : This setting allows you to choose the input controls that must be reset or not. If “All except specified” is set and no list is fed, all report input controls will be reset when selection is done. You can also choose the type of action to perform on the input control(s): Reset or send “All values” (this allows the input control to use a default value on reset ).
    • Variables reset option : This setting allows you to reset your Webi variables (set with #N4V_ALL content) during the selection (use “;” separator).
