Chart Tile
This is the N4V FOR WEBI Wiki page for the Chart Tile widget.

Render
Description
- Display a modern Tile with a main measure and an optional variation.
- Display an optional chart on the tile.
Parameters
- Dimension 1 : Dimension assigned to the measure. If only one value is provided, no chart is drawn.
- Measure : Main measure. If multiple values are provided for the dimension, a chart based on these measures is displayed.
- Trend : [optional] Measure representing the trend to display in the top right corner of the tile.
Animation
- There is no specific animation on this tile
Navigation
Navigation can be used on the points of the chart through the Native Webi Linking Elements or by affecting a Webi variable.
Settings
You can find instructions for accessing settings for Need4viz graphics : Format Custom Element.
For the Chart Tile, the available parameters are:
Global
- Palette and Style
- General : You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.
Extended parameters
- Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here
- Menu → See the user guide for the “Menu” section here
- Options
- Color : This setting allows you to define the color background of the tile. You can also use a gradient background.
- Borders : You can set here a border (width, corner radius, color) for the tile.
- Margins : This setting allows you to display or not the borders of the tiles.
- Background image inside the tile : You can define an optional image to display in the tile. The SVG image can be choose in the dropdown list (same list used for the picturals gauges). The image can also be stored locally on the Need4Viz server (in the N4VCustomElements webapp folder : N4VCustomElements\res\images) or it can be a URL, in this case, define it as URL(“http://your_url/your_image”). Format of image can be SVG, PNG, JPG… Use settings to place and size the image as you want on the tile. You can also set your own SVG path. In case of SVG (custom or in the list), you can change the color of it and apply a gradient.

- Measure-Block
- Measure display : You can choose here which value will be display as the main value of the tile. By default, if many values are provided for dimension/measure, the last value is displayed. You can choose to display the min/max/first/last/average or sum of the values.
- Style : You can also set the style of the main measure displayed.
- Titles-Block
- Titles display : Choose here the position of the title and subtitle of the tile.
- Main title in the tile : Set here the main title of the tile. By default, the Dimension value is displayed (value of the dimension corresponding to the value displayed - first/last/min/max value). You can also set a free text.
- Subtitle in the tile : You can choose here to display the dimension value or a free text.
- Chart-Block
- Chart display : Set here the kind of chart you want to display on the tile. You can also change the size of the markers (set 0 to hide the markers on line)
- X Axis : Use these settings to display or hide the X axis and set its style.
- Tooltip : Set here the tooltip displayed hovering the chart markers.
- Trend-Block
- Display of the trend block : Choose here to display or not the trend block (on the upper right corner of the tile). If a measure is provided for the Trend, the value according to the measure displayed (first/lastmin/max) is displayed. If no measure is provided, a default trend is calculated only when the “Last” value of the main measure is displayed (the trend is calculated between the last value and the previous one).
- Style of the trend block : Use these settings to change the style of the trend block (background & borders).
- Positive trend : This settings allows you to change the display of the variation for positive value (by default, green color and simple arrow).
- Negative trend : This setting allows you change the display of the variation for negative value (by default, red color and simple arrow).
- Measure
- Measures display : This setting allows you to specify the unit to add as a measurement prefix or suffix as well as the measurement accuracy. The measurement display format (standard - e.g.: 2,345.67, compact - e.g.: 2.3K or compact long - e.g.: 2.3 thousand) can also be defined.
