Description

  • Progress gauge allowing to display 2, 4 or 6 values on 2 levels of thickness.
  • An overall objective marker may also be indicated.
  • Possibility to use the functionality of linked elements on this graph.

How-to Video

Parameters

  • Dimension : Dimension to ventilate the gauges
  • [Tooltip] : [Optional] Value to display in the tooltip
  • Value : Measure to display in the gauge
  • [Target] : [Optional] Target measurement to display in the gauge
  • [Min,Max] : [Optional] Measure to set the maximum (if only 1 parameter set) or minimum & maximum (if 2 parameters set) range

Animations

  • The gauge gradually rises when the graph is opened.
  • Tooltip appears when you move the mouse over the gauge.

Use the Webi native element link function to make this graph interact with other elements of the same report (native Webi tables / graphs and / or Need4Viz graphs). Element binding can be defined on all objects or individually on one of the dimensions of the graph.

Settings

You can find instructions here to access the settings for the Need4Viz widgets : Format Custom Element.

For the Bullet chart, the available settings are:

* Global

  • Palette and Style
    • General :You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.

* Extended parameters

  • Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here
  • Menu → See the user guide for the “Menu” section here
  • X_Axis & Y_Axis → See the user guide for the “Axes” section here
  • Options
    • Orientation of gauge : This setting allows you choose horizontal or vertical gauge(s)
    • Horizontal gauge : This setting allows you to set the height of each gauge(s), only for horizontal representation
    • Tooltip : This setting allows you to custom tooltip.
  • Selection → See the user guide for the “Selection” section here
  • Controls → See the user guide for the “Selection” section here
  • Gauge
    • Labels : This setting allows you to set the labels of each gauge (no label, value or ratio) and display labels outside the bars.
    • Gauge options : This setting allows you to specify the color/thickness of the bullet bar
    • Gauge borders : This setting allows you to set corner radius (all corners or only top corners) of the bullet bar
    • Gauge Shadow : This setting allows you to draw a colored shadow around the columns.
  • Target
    • Labels : This setting allows you to set (or not) the labels of each target
    • Target options : This setting allows you to specify the color/thickness of the target line
  • Measure
    • Measure of the gauge : This setting allows you to specify the unit to add as a measurement prefix or suffix as well as the measurement accuracy. The measurement display format (standard - e.g.: 2,345.67, compact - e.g.: 2.3K or compact long - e.g.: 2.3 thousand) can also be defined.
  • Ranges
    • Range definition : This setting allows you to define the desired range values calculation. Choose fixed values and the values defined for each color zones above will be used as fixed values and compared to the bullet measure. Choose percentage of max value and the values defined for each color zones above will be used as percentages and applied to the max value defined as input parameter (or max value of the bullet measure if no max is set as input parameter). Choose percentage of target and the values defined for each color zones above will be used as percentages and applied to the target value defined as input parameter.
    • Color zones : These settings allow you to the color and range of the 3 zones available for the bullet measure.
