Gantt Resource Management

Render

Description

  • Gantt chart to display the progress of resource management.

Parameters

  • Dimension 1 : Dimension for the chosen resource
  • Dimension 2 : Dimension for assignment
  • Dimension 3 : Dimension for start date (or datetime). Specify in the Input_Format the date format (DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY)
  • Dimension 4 : Dimension for end date (or datetime).
  • Dimension 5 : [Optional] Dimension to group resources.
  • Resource color : [Optional] Dimension to attribute a specific color for the resource (in RGB format - Ex. “#F456A2”)

Animations

  • Display the tooltip when you move the mouse over the bars representing the progress of the task.
  • Fold / unfold grouping tasks (categories) by clicking on the group name.

For the Resource Management, the available parameters are:

Global

  • Palette and Style
    • General : You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.

Extended parameters

  • Global → See the user guide for the “Global” section here
  • Menu → See the user guide for the “Menu” section here
  • Input_Format
    • Input Date/Time format : This setting allows you to choose the type of input date format.
    • Missing data : Choose here to show a warning where a begin or end date is missing. If the warning is not displayed, the missing begin/end date is filled with corresponding end/begin date (→ begin date = end date)
  • Options
    • Colors : This setting allows you to apply a gradient effect on the colors and choose the type of colorization (by assignment, resources or resources/assignments)
    • Current date indicator: Setting to manage the current date indicator slider
    • Groups management : Settings to manage groups of resources (only if Dimension 5 is fed)
  • X_Axis
    • Header row 1 (Date/Time) : Set the height and style of the superior row of the Date/Time header
    • Header row 2 (Date/Time) : Set the height and style of the inferior row of the Date/Time header
    • Fixed header : You can here fix the date/time header. If it is fixed, set the number of rows visible when scrolling
    • Week management : Set here the first day of the week
    • Crosshair : Display and set a crosshair on X axis. You can stick the crosshair on values or follow the cursor freely
  • Y_Axis
    • Assignment & dates columns : Choose here to display or not the affectations columns. In case of display, choose to display the current affectations (at this time) or the next one (if no current affectation). For the next affectations, you can set a different color of font.
    • Columns headers : Set here the labels value and the font of the column headers
    • Rows of resources : Set here the labels position and font of the resources content
    • Columns size : You can fix and define the width of the resources and affectations columns (in this case, long labels will be truncated)
  • Colors
    • Global : Use gradient effect colors
    • Resources/affectations colors : Define here the color management for resources and affectation values
    • Resources groups colors : Define here the color management for groups of resources (only if Dimension 5 is fed)
  • DateTime
    • Calendar management : This setting allows you to Define the number of days to start the chart before the first task and to end after the last task. You can choose to add the current date in the calendar.
    • Date/Time format : This setting allows you to define the date / time format in the tooltip.
    • Range selector: This setting allows you to set the date/time format in the range selector.

  • Navigation
    • Upper navigation : Set here to display/hide the upper navigation zone (zoom & calendar selector) as well as the zoom and labels color
    • Zoom boxes : You can choose here the default zoom level and the available zoom buttons..
    • Date boxes : You can hide here the calendar selectors (only if upper navigation is displayed)
    • Lower navigation: This setting allows you to display or not the scrollbar and the navigation. You can also center on the current date the chart (when refreshing/opening the report)
