Change item indicates that a different behaviour can be observed in your charts between previous version of N4V and this version. You may use new settings to update your chart if desired.

• Global :
  • HTML Export in SAPBI2025 : export of N4V elements inside sections and usage of %SECTION%N% may not work correctly
  • In all N4V components : background colors and borders of the area chart can now be set

Technical and functional evolutions of the solution. Main update :

• N4V Panel
  • SVG & Palettes → The SVG/Palette selected can now be applied directly to the N4V widget (can also be applied on a multi N4V widgets selection)
  • Palette → The palette used in the N4V selected widget is now displayed in the list of palettes of the N4V Panel
  • Palette → The palette created/updated in the N4V Panel popup can now be saved (locally & in our cloud) and is shared in any SAPBI environment / user of your company
  • Palette → The palette created/updated in the N4V Panel popup can now be applied directly from the popup to the N4V widget
  • Palette → The list of all available palettes (palettes saved by user, palettes available for the entire company users, N4V library palettes) in the N4V Panel popup can be fold/unfold
  • Settings → A new panel allows you to confgure the N4V elements in 3 distinct modes. A smart fold/unfold, a search bar and a breadcrumb and a button to enable/disable the interactions in the N4V widget are also available in this panel. The modes you can choose are the following ones :
    • Basic : only the main basic settings are shown
    • Standard : to go further in the configuration of your widget
    • Advanced : show you all the settings available for the widget (equivalent of the classical “Extended parameters” view)

• New Widget :
  • Chart tile : A new tile is now available in the Tiles family. In this tile, you can draw a chart, show a measure and an optional variation in a modern rendering.

• Global :
  • Fix : In some charts, the quote “ character in title/subtitle may not be displayed correctly
  • Enhancement : In most of all N4V Widget, you can now use colors with an opacity in the charts
