Change item indicates that a different behaviour can be observed in your widgets between previous version of N4V FOR WEBI and this version. You may use new settings to update your widget if desired.

Technical and functional evolutions of the solution. Main update :

• Global :
  • N4V architecture : N4V audit files (chart_usage.csv and ftp_usage.csv) are now automatically limited to 1Gb size. Once the limit is reached, the file is backuped with a timestamp and an empty new one is created.
  • In all N4V components : using a BW hierarchy object (not supported in N4V elements) display now a better understanding message (and application doesn't crash anymore)
  • In all N4V components : link to the wiki webpage of the N4V element is better displayed in the Webi charts description

• N4V Panels
  • All panels : The “Enable interaction in Custom Elements” button is now displayed in all popup and all panels
  • All panels : A guided tour is now available in all N4V popup. You'll get a better understanding of all features in the popup/panel
  • Settings panel : The settings button is now the first one in the Design App Webi toolbar
  • Settings panel : The palette colors are now displayed in a visual mode (swatches pills)
  • Settings panel : The display of the settings is now quickier
  • Settings panel : The Exports settings (Export server, Export FTP, Export MSSP) are now available in the panel (and in the popup)
  • Settings panel : The Wiki page of the selected element is now available in the popup
  • Settings panel : Save/Update of templates has been deeply enhanced
  • Settings panel : Click on an updated setting in the right part of the popup will scroll and display the corresponding setting in the middle part of the popup
  • Settings panel : Enriched text is now available on some string settings (title/subtitles/content…)
  • Settings panel : Larger textarea are now used on some settings (custom CSS…)
  • Chart Recommender : All N4V charts are now displayed in the Panel. This is a new way to make a quick and visual turn-into N4V widget.

• New component:
  • Webi action button : With this button, you'll can place inside your report the most important Webi action used by the end users (refresh all document, refresh some queries, open the advanced refresh panel, navigate in the different reports of the document, save, print, export…)

• New tool:
  • Dashboard builder : A new HTML light tool (N4V Dashboard Builder) is delivered with the solution. Use this tool to draw simplier to more complex responsive and nice dashboards based on the N4V HTML exports outside of Webi/BusinessObjects. To access it, open the

• Pie in pie:
• Fix : When only one slice is displayed, the color may not be the correct one
• Enhancement : general display of the pies has been enhanced
• Add : Thresholds can now be set to hide labels of slices
• Add : Pie rotation buttons are now displayed
• Add : Main slice label corresponding to the smaller pie is now bordered to get a better visibility

• Bubble chart:
  • Add : X & Y axis can now be used in linear or logarithmic mode

• Multi chart:
  • Fix : Display of min/max/first/last values may not be correclty rendered on a plateau
  • Add : When displaying only min/max/first/last values, the measure label can also be added to the value label

• Multi drill:
  • Add : Null values management is now available

• Chart tile:
  • Fix : Average calculation may not be correct

• Gantt resource management:
  • Add : Zoom mode can now be set
  • Add : Labels can now be displayed inside the bars
  • Add : Colors by groups can now be used

• Mapline/Webmapline :
  • Add : Autozoom on popuplated zones is now available
  • Add : Specific OUTLINE zone can now be used (to display only the outline of a non selectable zone)

• Liquid gauge:
  • Fix : Unnecessary vertical scrollbar may be displayed in some cases

• Vertical scroll table:
  • Fix : Transparency of the background may not be respected

• Horizontal scroll table:
  • Fix : Transparency of the background may not be respected
  • Fix : Alerters may not be correctly applied

• Sparkline:
  • Fix : Popup charts may not be correctly displayed
  • Fix : Calculation of min/max/first/last values may be wrong with null values

• Timeline:
  • Add : Vertical time separators (X axe) can now displayed on the chart (to get a better rendering of the component)

• Navigation
  • Enhancement : A spinner is now displayed when a value is selected
  • Fix : Quotes in the custom list of dropdown liast, radio, menu button… may generate errors
  • Input text : A complex formular can now be displayed when many Webi variables are used
