Description

  • Complex Cytoscape RDF diagram.
  • Used to display the relationships between parent / child elements (nodes).
  • The shape, color, content, size and background of the nodes can be associated with dimensions or indicators.
  • A tooltip can be displayed.

Parameters

  • Dimension 1 : Used to define the members of the diagram
  • Dimension 2 : Allows to define the parents of the members the diagram
  • Dimension 3 : [optional] Used to define relationships in the diagram
  • Dimension 4 : [optional] Allows you to define a tooltip in the diagram
  • Measure for shape 1 : [optional] Allows you to define a color for the node
  • Measure for shape 2 : [optional] Allows you to define a shape for the node
  • Measure for shape 3 : [optional] Allows you to define an outline for the node
  • Measure for shape 4 : [optional] Allows you to define a background for the node
  • Measure 1 : [optional] Used to define the size of the node

Animations

The application menu allows you to colorize by choosing a node:

  • direct relationships (ancestry/descent)
  • Total (ancestry/descent) relationships

Settings

You can find instructions here to access the settings for the Need4Viz charts : Format Custom Element.

For the complex RDF chart, the available settings are :

  • Global
    • Palette and Style
      • General :You can use the palette tool to define the colors used to build the graph.
  • Extended parameters
  • Global
    • Automatic displacement of child nodes :This configuration allows you to move or not the child nodes with the selected node and to determine the minimum number of children for the automatic movement.
  • Links
    • Links colors :This setting allows you to define a color for the link and the arrow as well as their intensities.
    • Link thikness :This setting allows you to define the thickness of the desired link.
    • Link type :This setting allows you to define a style for the links between curve, straight, broken line or horizontal / vertical.
    • Arrow type :This setting allows you to define a shape for the arrows between curved triangle, right triangle, bar triangle, square, round, diamond or chevron.
  • Colors
    • Default node color :This setting allows you to define the default node color as well as its opacity.
    • Definition of node colors according to dimension :This setting allows you to define up to 5 different colors and their opacities.
  • Shape
    • Default node shapes :This setting allows you to define a shape for the default nodes.
    • Definition of node shapes according to dimension :This setting allows you to define up to 5 different shapes.
  • Outline
    • Color of outline :This setting allows you to define a color for the outlines as well as its opacity.
    • Default node outline :This setting allows you to define a style for the default node outlines.
    • Definition of node outines accrding to dimension :This setting allows you to define up to 5 different outlines styles.
  • Background
    • Definition of node background :This setting allows you to define up to 5 different background styles.
  • Size
    • Node size :This setting allows you to define whether the size will be fixed or variable.
    • Definition of the fixed size of the nodes :This configuration makes it possible to define a fixed size for the nodes (between 1 and 100).
    • Definition of the varaible size of the nodes :This setting allows you to define 3 node sizes according to the value of measure 1 (Define in parameters).
